SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
 The operations manager assumes the full responsibility of delivering contractual obligations entrusted to the company through:
• Overseeing that the activities carried out by the operations department staff, including those in the different geographic areas and on projects, comply with the company goals, and by ensuring that set targets are met.
• Assisting in the preparation of contracts and negotiating revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with concerned parties.
• Developing controls of projects budgets and related function to ensure that all technical and financial targets are met and that they all comply with company and regulatory requirements
• Evaluating the operations and maintenance methods and determining that the projects are cost-effective and that they are executed to the contractual requirements and meet with the client’s satisfaction.
 The operations manager oversees the work of the department staff encouraging them, mentoring them, and guiding them to ensure that they carry out the work assigned to them and get it done to the best of their capabilities.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
 The operations manager reports to the company General Manager.
 The operations manager directs the operations department activities and manages all staff assigned to his department and to the different areas and projects.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Contribute to the development of the company strategy, vision, and mission.
 Develop and implement operational strategies that enables the company to achieve its objectives
 Discusses with company management and determines and agrees the main duties that are expected from his department and which fall in line with the company goals and identifies their order of priorities.
 Plans the results that are to be obtained from his department’s work in view of the objectives, staffing, allocated time, allocated budgets, and other constrains set by the upper management.
 Translates the top level strategies into operational tactical initiatives, and delivers upon them.
 Oversees the development of master plans for the projects entrusted to the company through contractual obligations and ensures that they are always updated and that they meet with the objectives set by top management.
 Provide dynamic leadership in developing a well-structured organization to achieve profitability and growth;
 Oversees that of the projects staff are properly organized to carry out the tasks needed to accomplish the defined goals and objectives, and that they have clear definition of what work they need to do in order to achieve those results, how they should do that work, when they should do it, and who will do it, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel.
 Directs the daily activities of the operations department and coordinates the involved work, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
 Monitor the projects overall performance to ensure smooth operations
 Help develop and control the budget for all functions to ensure all financial targets are met and all necessary financial controls are in place to comply with company and regulatory requirements
 Analyzes the operations of projects to evaluate performance of company and to determine areas of cost reduction and program improvement.
 Analyzes projects financial data and reports to identify and determine causes of deviations from budgets and develops solutions for improvements and cost reductions.
 Coordinates BTAM financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize returns, and increase efficiency
 Building strategic relationships with clients
 Evaluate organization's technology use and needs & recommend improvements, Control operational budget and expenditures
 Oversees the proper planning of clients’ visit or peak seasons.
